Editorial Policy

Alizés is a peer-reviewed academic journal founded in 1991 and published online since 2023 by Presses Universitaires Indianocéaniques (PUI), under the editorial direction of the Research Unit UR 7389 DIRE (Déplacements, Identités, Regards, Écritures). The journal specialises in Anglophone studies (literature, cultural and historical studies, linguistics, and language pedagogy) and offers researchers involved in these disciplines a forum for exchange and collaborative work.

The journal's two main objectives are to promote the work of researchers in English studies internationally, including PhD students, and to contribute to cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration on original themes in the humanities and social sciences. Produced on Reunion Island and focusing on the diversity of the English-speaking world and the Indian Ocean region, Alizés is a journal notable for its geographical location and regional cultural studies, while retaining an international dimension.

Alizés: Revue angliciste de La Réunion is published at least once a year in the form of a thematic issue or varia issue.

Alizés: Revue angliciste de La Réunion publishes original manuscripts written in French or in English online. In addition to articles, the journal also publishes book reviews.

Contributions are selected after double-blind evaluation by two members of an ad hoc reviewing board.

All articles and book reviews published in Alizés: Revue angliciste de La Réunion are freely accessible online as soon as they are published.
